Fun in the Desert - 2006
                                            By: Phil Aaland

Once again the FID XV was a fantastic success.  The trails were tough as is to be expected from the famous Johnson Valley, "Home of the Hammers."  We were on Jackhammer, running it backwards.  It was very difficult and we were at the back end of seventeen rigs.  After moving bout 200 yards in three hours, JB and I decided to go and play on Lower Big Johnson.  We ran it in about an hour with no event.  We each had to back up once or twice for a hooked diff, but no other issues.  Most of these pictures were of the rigs in from of us on the Jackhammer early in the day.  Enjoy
